First Targa 46 Triple on the Water
The concept was developed in close cooperation with the owner, whose objective was not primarily to increase top speed, but to achieve higher cruising speeds while maintaining good fuel economy and the renowned handling characteristics of the model.
The result is a comfortable cruising speed of 30 knots at 2,750 rpm, with a fuel consumption of approximately 3.9 litres per nautical mile.
Despite its size, the triple-engine configuration retains the responsive and predictable handling for which the model is known. The additional engine contributes to a light and agile feel at the helm, while maintaining the solid and confidence-inspiring behaviour expected from a boat designed for demanding conditions.
